Are you ready to take your DSLR photography to the next level?
Join Truckee-based professional photographer Grant Kaye as he helps you build on the foundations learned in "Intro to DSLR" class at Atelier and move into manual mode to fully unleash your creative vision. Learn strategies for creative long exposures with slow shutter speeds, along with use of shallow depth of field to bring your photographic ideas to life. Emphasis will be placed on working with our DSLRs in "Live View" mode.
Grant will also demonstrate the use of neutral density and polarizing filters, as well as show strategies for multiple exposures and how to blend them in post production with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
Participants will meet at Atelier at 2 pm to review fundamentals, and then in your own vehicles, drive to the beautiful Martis Valley to shoot the sunset (weather permitting). Carpooling is available.
