In this workshop, we will move beyond what was covered in "Smartphone Photography" workshop and dive into making more complicated photographs with our phones. We will make use of clip-on camera lens attachments such as this kit (https://www.amazon.com/Fisheye-Camera-Iphone-Galaxy-Smartphones/dp/B0179JX8GC/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1471099897&sr=1-1-spell&keywords=smaartphone+lens+kit) to expand the optics of our phones. We will also use phone tripods such as (https://www.amazon.com/FLFLK-Flexible-Octopus-iPhone-Digital/dp/B01HPV212G/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1471100082&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=iphone+tripod&psc=1) Please bring these items with you, or plan to purchase one at Atelier.
We will use the ProShot and Snapseed Apps (which must be purchased and installed for this workshop) to make panoramas, HDR images, creative portraits, and we will go outside (weather permitting) to make long exposures and do some light painting. Then, we will reconvene and work on editing our photos together in the excellent (and free) App Snapseed. We will do black and white conversions, and other advanced editing techniques.
Grant will also introduce an additional app Mosaic that allows you to upload your photos and order a personalized hard cover book.
